Gosport & Fareham Under 15s prop William Hosell helped the Welsh Exiles team to three victories in the North Wales Super 4’s Rugby Festival yesterday writes Arthur Rabjohn .

The Exiles, who faced the four regional sides of North Wales, were selected from players qualified to play for Wales who are playing their rugby outside of Wales. There are currently eight players in the full Welsh squad that have progressed through this route to international honours.

This was the first game for the current Welsh Exiles U15 team. The day started with a warm up before the coaches took them through some tactics and drills to get to know each other.

Will (pictured) played his part in the Exiles team who recorded three wins whilst scoring 95 points and only conceding 15 throughout the day.

Will, a Fareham Academy student, has been representing his school and club as part of the Hampshire Extended Player Training (HEPT) programme.

He has played for Gosport & Fareham since joining the Ravens squad eight years ago in their Under 8s season.

He will be back to club rugby this Sunday when the Ravens take on Winchester in the Hampshire U15 League competition at Gosport Park.
