First XV captain Wes Dugan dominated the End of Season Players' Awards evening in the Clubhouse last night picking up three trophies including the coveted Players' Player of the Season writes Brian Seeney.

It was a great day for Dugan as he arrived late to the presentation evening having captained Hampshire in the afternoon to an amazing 13-62 win over North Midlands in the opening game of the Bill Beaumont County Championship Division 2 South in which brother Wayne played in the centre with Tim Snowden at hooker.

Wes received the Players' Player of the Season trophy, generally regarded as the most prestigious award as it is voted for by the winner's peers.

He also picked up the Top Try Scorer Award (nine tries) and along with Head Coach Barry Bridgman shared the Digger Jordan Trophy for "outstanding services to the Club" in the season.

The Collard brothers each picked up a trophy - Alex was voted Vikings (2nd XV) Players' Player of the Season with Joe winning the Vikings (2nd XV) Steve Cobbold Young Player of the Season.

The 1st XV Young Player of the Season Don Tilling Award went to Will Larkin and Dan Gamblin won the 1st Team Coach's Player of the Season trophy.

Other winners were: Vikings (2nd XV) Coach's Player of the Season - Adam Henderson; Clubman of the Season - Daniel O'Donoghue; Supporters' Player of the Season (the Sue Pazdzierski Trophy) - Kieran McRoberts.
