Our club's contribution to Hampshire County rugby last season was formally recognised when new County President Rick Scott presented our President Patricia Smith-Roché with a framed shirt on Saturday.

Rick, a former Gos coach, and his wife were guests at our first Match Day Lunch of this season.

He acknowledged not only the efforts of County captain and Gos scrum half Wes Dugan in leading Hampshire to their County Championship win at Twickenham along with his brother Wayne Dugan, but also the other support given by Gosport & Fareham RFC.

Our club staged a County Championship match for the first ever time along with a match day lunch, hosted the County Players squad End of Season Dinner, provided training facilities and also hosted the County AGM.
