Last Sunday saw the Beserkers (Under 16s) beat Farnborough for the first time in two seasons with a final scoreline of 36-21.

Spectators and coaches were treated to a great flowing game of rugby with Gosport & Fareham going ahead with three very well worked tries.

However after the break, Gos let Farnborough back in the game with two quick tries.

G&F managed to get some territory and managed to secure three points from a penalty to keep a few scores ahead and slow the opposition's momentum.

Farnborough got a great interception in their own 22, ran the length of the pitch and scored under the sticks for a tense final 10 minutes for everyone.

The game was delayed by a couple of injuries, which whilst serious will not have a long term effect on the injured players.

The Beserkers managed to hold on, scoring a final try which was a brilliant way to end the year!

The try scorers Sam Gee (2), Layton Chambers (2) and Alfie Barfield with conversions by Sam Gee (three) and Sam Quinn (one).
