In the Youth Section (U13-U16) only the U14 Ravens had a game with their development side, Muninn, taking on a combined Overton Fordingbridge side yesterday.

They started well with tries from Will Hosell, Shaun Bland and Jonnie Lewis, two of which Aidan Jarvis converted.

The opposition did score a try of their own and at half time it was 19-5 to Ravens.

Ravens seemed to think the job was done, whereas the visitors knew they were still in the game. Tackles were missed and support play dropped away from the Ravens; next thing they knew the visitors had scored 4 tries to their 1 by Tom Ellis, converted by Aidan, and they were 26-29 down.

The visitors dug deep and despite substitutions to strengthen the Ravens, they could not break their determined defence and the visitors deservedly registered a win for their combined development side.
